Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the throttle control shield .

Remove the speed control cable from the throttle body lever.
Remove from throttle cable bracket by compressing the retaining tabs on the cable and slide cable out of the bracket .

Remove the vacuum line from the speed control servo.

Remove the 2 nuts from the speed control servo studs .

1 - HAIRPIN CLIP
Push and pull up the speed control servo from the mounting bracket.
Unlock and disconnect the electrical connector from the speed control servo .
Remove the 2 push clips and discard.
Remove the retaining clip holding cable to servo .
Remove the cable.
