Rear Drum Brake Vehicles

REAR DRUM BRAKE VEHICLES





1. Slide the hub and bearing (7) onto the spindle (10).
2. Install a NEW hub nut (3) on the spindle. Tighten the nut to 217 Nm (160 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the hub and bearing dust cap (4).
4. Adjust the rear brakes as necessary. Adjustments.
5. Install the brake drum (6).





6. Install tire and wheel assembly (1) Tires and Wheels - Installation. Install and tighten wheel mounting nuts (3) to 135 Nm (100 ft. lbs.).
7. Lower the vehicle.
