Headliner - Removal






REMOVAL





1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove A-Pillar trim (1) A-Pillar Trim Panel-Removal.
3. Disengage the electrical connector, at base of A-Pillar (2) and release the wiring from the A-Pillar.
4. If equipped with a sun roof, remove trim lace from the sunroof opening.





5. Remove fasteners (4) that secure the sun visors (1).
6. Disconnect the electrical connectors (3) and remove the visors.
7. Remove sun visor hooks and fasteners (5).
8. Remove both the left and right B-Pillar trim panels.B-Pillar Trim Panel-Removal.





9. Fully recline front seats and fold rear seats forward.
10. Remove both the left and right C-Pillar trim panels.C-Pillar Trim Panel-Removal.
11. Remove the rear cargo tonneau cover, if equipped.
12. Disengage the clips and remove both the left and right D-pillar trim panels (3).
13. Remove the front and rear assist handle assemblies and fasteners.

CAUTION: The headliner push pins do not separate from the headliner. Failure to follow these instructions will result in damage to the headliner.





14. Using Miller Special Tool # 6967, insert above headliner at the rear liftgate opening and gently pry down to release the push pin retainers from the body.
15. Remove headliner through rear hatch opening.
