1. Position heater tubes into water pump housing.
2. Install mounting bolts. Tighten bolts to 10 N.m (88 in. lbs.).
3. Install heater hose onto heater tubes.
4. Install intake manifold. For 5.7L, refer to INSTALLATION . For 6.1L, refer to INSTALLATION .
5. Connect negative battery cable.
6. Fill cooling system. See Cooling - Standard Procedure .
7. Start vehicle and check for cooling system leaks.
