SEAL, Input Shaft: Removal: Rear

  1. Remove the rear propeller shaft. Refer to Differential and Driveline/Propeller Shaft - Removal .
  2. Install Holder 6958 (1) onto the rear output flange (2).
  3. Remove the rear output flange nut from the input shaft.

  4. Remove the rear output flange washer (1)

  5. Remove the outer rear input shaft seal (1)

  6. Remove the rear output flange (1) from the input shaft.
  7. Remove the inner rear input shaft seal.
