SEAL, Input Shaft: Installation: Rear

Use 10174 Seal Installer to install the rear input shaft seal into the rear case half (2).

Install the rear output flange (1).

Install a new outer rear input shaft seal (1)

Install the rear output flange washer (1)

Install the rear output flange nut.
Install Holder 6958 (1) onto the rear output flange (2). Tighten the rear output flange nut to 319 Nm (235 ft. lbs.).
Install the rear propeller shaft. Refer to Differential and Driveline/Propeller Shaft - Installation .
