Link-Stabilizer Bar: Removal

NOTE: Before proceeding, (Refer to SUSPENSION/REAR - WARNING) .
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. (Refer to LUBRICATION & MAINTENANCE/HOISTING - STANDARD PROCEDURE) .

  2. Remove the wheel mounting nuts (3), then the rear tire and wheel assembly.

    1 - LINK
    2 - STABILIZER BAR
    3 - CUSHION
    4 - RETAINER
  3. Remove the nut and bolt from the lower end of the stabilizer bar link (1) attaching it to the stabilizer bar (2).
  4. Remove the bolt retaining the link (1) to the frame rail, then remove the stabilizer bar link from the vehicle.
