6 - STABILIZER BAR
7 - STABILIZER BAR CUSHION AND RETAINER
8 - BALL JOINT (OF LOWER CONTROL ARM)
9 - STABILIZER LINK
10 - HUB (PRESSED INTO BEARING)
11 - KNUCKLE
12 - STRUT (DAMPER)
13 - LOWER SPRING ISOLATOR
14 - COIL SPRING
15 - JOUNCE BUMPER
16 - DUST SHIELD
17 - SPRING SEAT AND BEARING
18 - UPPER MOUNT
19 - STRUT ASSEMBLY
20 - LOWER CONTROL ARM

This vehicle has a gas pressurized MacPherson strut type front suspension design.

Each side of the front suspension consists of these major components:

  1. Hub (pressed into Bearing)
  2. Bearing (pressed into Knuckle)
  3. Knuckle
  4. Lower Control Arm
  5. Stabilizer Bar
  6. Strut Assembly

The front suspension also includes a crossmember to support the lower half of the suspension. Service procedures for the front suspension crossmember can be found in the Frame & Bumpers Group.
