Studs - Front: Installation

- Install replacement wheel stud into flange of hub and bearing from rear. Install stack of washers (1) on wheel stud, then install a standard type wheel mounting (lug) nut (3) on stud with flat side of lug nut against washers.
- Tighten nut (3), pulling wheel stud into hub flange. Once head of stud is fully seated against rear of hub flange, remove nut and washers from stud.
- Install brake rotor and caliper. (Refer to BRAKES/HYDRAULIC/MECHANICAL/ROTOR - INSTALLATION)
- Install wheel and tire assembly (Refer to TIRES/WHEELS - INSTALLATION) . Tighten wheel mounting (lug) nuts in proper sequence to 150 N.m (110 ft. lbs.) torque.
- Lower vehicle.
- Road test vehicle to ensure proper operation of the brakes.
