Axle Seal: Removal

- Remove axle shaft. (Refer to DIFFERENTIAL & DRIVELINE/HALF SHAFT - REMOVAL)
1 - AXLE SEAL 2 - PRY TOOL - Insert a flat-blade pry tool (2) at outer edge of axle shaft seal (1). See Fig 1.
- Tap on the pry tool (2) with a small hammer and remove axle shaft seal (1).
