1 - INPUT SHAFT ASSEMBLY	8 - BUSHING
2 - SYNCHRONIZER (5TH GEAR)	9 - SYNCHRONIZER (4TH GEAR)
3 - BLOCKER RING	10 - THRUST WASHER
4 - 5TH GEAR	11 - THRUST BEARING
5 - NEEDLE BEARING	12 - NEEDLE BEARING
6 - BUSHING	13 - 3RD GEAR
7 - 4TH GEAR	14 - INPUT SHAFT

Refer to the exploded view as necessary when performing the following steps.

1 - PROTECT BUTTON 8919

2 - 5TH GEAR SYNCHRONIZER

3 - 5TH GEAR

Remove 5th gear (3) and synchronizer (2) from input shaft using Protect Button 8919 (1) and bearing splitter. See Fig 2.

1 - NEEDLE BEARING

Remove 5th gear needle bearing (1). See Fig 3.

1 - PROTECT BUTTON 8919

2 - 5TH GEAR BUSHING

3 - 4TH GEAR

4 - 3/4 SYNCHRONIZER

5 - 3RD GEAR

Remove 3rd (5) and 4th (3) gears, synchronizer (4), and 5th gear bearing bushing (2) using Protect Button 8919 (1) and bearing splitter. See Fig 4.

1 - NEEDLE BEARINGS
Remove both 3rd gear needle bearings (1). See Fig 5.

1 - THRUST WASHER
Remove thrust washer (1). See Fig 6.

1 - THRUST PLATE

2 - PUNCH/DRIFT
If necessary, remove 3rd gear thrust plate (1). See Fig 7.
