1 - FLEX JOINT
2 - CATALYTIC CONVERTER
3 - OXYGEN SENSOR

An under-floor catalytic converter (2) inlet is attached to the exhaust manifold using fasteners and a gasket for sealing. A flex joint that is integral to the converter allows movement between the engine and the exhaust system. The converter outlet attaches to the intermediate pipe. See Fig 1.
