Stripes And Decals-Body: Removal

  1. Mark decal attachment locations on the body as necessary with a grease pencil or other suitable device to provide reference marks for installation.
  2. Using a heat gun, gently apply heat in a circular motion to loosen the adhesive bond that secure the molding decals (4, 5, 6, 7 and 9) and woodgrain decals (1, 2, 3 and 8) to the body, as required.
  3. Using a trim stick C-4755 or equivalent, remove the decals by gently pry up at the corners and carefully pulling on the remaining portion of the decal.
  4. Clean off all traces of adhesive from the panels with a general purpose adhesive remover.
