Section 79 (Interior & Exterior (1 Of 2)): DECKLID/Hatch/Liftgate/Tailgate: Cylinder-Lock: Removal

- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Open the decklid (5).
- Remove the decklid trim panel (Refer to BODY/DECKLID/PANEL-TRIM - REMOVAL) .
- Disconnect the lock cylinder wire lead from the decklid wire harness.
- Disengage the retainer clip that secures the lock cylinder link (1) to the lock cylinder (3) and disconnect the link.
- Disengage the retainer clip (2) that secures the lock cylinder to the decklid and remove the lock cylinder and gasket (4) from the decklid.
