Section 76 (2.4L DOHC Engine): Strut-Torque: Removal: Upper

3 - UPPER TORQUE STRUT BRACKET

4 - NUTS

5 - BOLT

6 - UPPER TORQUE STRUT

7 - BOLT

8 - LOWER TORQUE STRUT BRACKET

9 - BOLT

10 - LOWER TORQUE STRUT

11 - BOLT

12 - RIGHT ENGINE MOUNT

Remove bolts attaching upper torque strut (6) to shock tower bracket and engine mount bracket. See Fig 1.
Remove timing belt front upper cover (if A/C equipped).
Remove the upper torque strut (6).
