Lines-Oil Cooler: Installation

1 - OIL COOLER SEAL
  1. Replace oil cooler seal (1). See Fig 1.

    2 - TAB
  2. Lubricate seal and position oil cooler to oil filter adapter, aligning notch (1) to tab (2). See Fig 2.

    1 - OIL COOLER
    2 - CONNECTOR BOLT
  3. Install oil cooler connector bolt (2). Torque connector bolt to 55 N.m (41 ft. lbs.). See Fig 3.
  4. Install oil filter.

    1 - COOLANT TUBES
    2 - COOLANT HOSES
    3 - OIL FILTER
    4 - OIL COOLER
  5. Connect oil cooler coolant hoses (1,2). See Figure.
  6. Lower vehicle.
  7. Fill cooling system, (Refer to FILLING COOLING SYSTEM - 2.0L/2.4L ENGINE ).
