The lubrication system is a full-flow filtration, pressure feed type. The oil pump (2) is incorporated into the timing chain cover and driven by the crankshaft. Oil pressure is controlled by a pressure relief valve (3) mounted inside the oil pump (2) housing. See Fig 1.
