Seal-Axle Shaft: Installation

Using Tool 9223 (2), install NEW axle shaft seal (1). Lubricate the inside diameter with Mopar® Gear and Axle Lubricant 75W-140 to protect seal during halfshaft installation.
Install halfshaft(s). (Refer to DIFFERENTIAL & DRIVELINE/HALF SHAFT - INSTALLATION)

Remove fill plug (1) to check and adjust rear axle fluid level. Top off axle with Mopar® Gear and Axle Lubricant 75W-140. Reinstall fill plug and torque to 50 N.m (37 ft. lbs.) torque.
