Cooler-Automatic Transmission Oil: Removal: Turbo

NOTE: When the transaxle cooler lines are removed from the rolled-groove type fittings at the cooler and transaxle, damage to the inner wall of hose will occur. To prevent potential leakage, the cooler hoses and clamps must be replaced.

Remove grille, (Refer to BODY/EXTERIOR/GRILLE - REMOVAL) .
Remove upper radiator closure panel, (Refer to BODY/EXTERIOR/RADIATOR CLOSURE PANEL - REMOVAL) . See Fig 1.
Remove radiator closure panel center brace. See Fig 1.
Remove fasteners attaching transmission oil cooler to air conditioning condenser. See Fig 2.
Disconnect hoses from transmission oil cooler, (Refer to COOLING/TRANSMISSION - STANDARD PROCEDURE) .
Remove transmission oil cooler.
