Cooler-Automatic Transmission Oil: Removal: Turbo

NOTE:
When the transaxle cooler lines are removed from the rolled-groove type fittings at the cooler and transaxle, damage to the inner wall of hose will occur. To prevent potential leakage, the cooler hoses and clamps must be replaced.
- Remove grille, (Refer to BODY/EXTERIOR/GRILLE - REMOVAL) .
- Remove upper radiator closure panel, (Refer to BODY/EXTERIOR/RADIATOR CLOSURE PANEL - REMOVAL) . See Fig 1.
- Remove radiator closure panel center brace. See Fig 1.
- Remove fasteners attaching transmission oil cooler to air conditioning condenser. See Fig 2.
- Disconnect hoses from transmission oil cooler, (Refer to COOLING/TRANSMISSION - STANDARD PROCEDURE) .
- Remove transmission oil cooler.
