Heater-Engine Block: Removal

1 - BLOCK HEATER

2 - SCREW

Drain the cooling system, (Refer to COOLING/ENGINE - STANDARD PROCEDURE) .
Raise vehicle on hoist.
Detach power cord plug from heater.
Loosen screw (2) in center of heater. Remove block heater (1) assembly. See Fig 1.
