2.2L Diesel

1 - COOLANT RECOVERY PRESSURE CONTAINER
2 - DASH PANEL
3 - COOLANT HOSE
4 - RETAINING BOLTS
5 - RETAINING NUT
  1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
  2. Remove engine cover.
  3. Partially drain cooling system using the draincock only, (Refer to COOLING/ENGINE/COOLANT - STANDARD PROCEDURE) . Drain system below level of the coolant recovery pressure container.
  4. Remove fuel filter assembly mounting bracket retaining screws and reposition assembly towards left side of the engine compartment.
  5. Disconnect coolant bypass hose (3) at coolant recovery pressure container (1).
  6. Remove coolant recovery pressure container fasteners (4, 5). See Fig 1.
  7. Lift container up at disconnect coolant hose (3) from bottom.
  8. Remove coolant recovery pressure container from engine compartment.
