Belt-Accessory Drive: Pulley-Idler: Removal

1 - IDLER PULLEY FASTENER

Disconnect negative battery cable.
Raise vehicle on hoist.
Remove belt splash shield.
Remove accessory drive belt, (Refer to COOLING/ACCESSORY DRIVE/DRIVE BELTS - REMOVAL) .
Remove fastener securing idler pulley (1) to front of engine. Remove idler pulley (2). See Fig 1.
