Belt-Accessory Drive: Pulley-Idler: Removal

1 - IDLER PULLEY FASTENER
2 - IDLER PULLEY
  1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
  2. Raise vehicle on hoist.
  3. Remove belt splash shield.
  4. Remove accessory drive belt, (Refer to COOLING/ACCESSORY DRIVE/DRIVE BELTS - REMOVAL) .
  5. Remove fastener securing idler pulley (1) to front of engine. Remove idler pulley (2). See Fig 1.
