Belt-Accessory Drive: Pulley-Idler: Installation

1 - IDLER PULLEY FASTENER
2 - IDLER PULLEY
  1. Position pulley (2) in mounting position. Install fastener securing idler pulley (1) to front of engine. Torque fastener to 28 N.m (250 in. lbs.). See Fig 1.
  2. Install accessory drive belt, (Refer to COOLING/ACCESSORY DRIVE/DRIVE BELTS - INSTALLATION) .
  3. Install belt splash shield.
  4. Lower vehicle.
  5. Connect negative battery cable.
