Section 46 (HVAC System (Service Information)): Plumbing: Evaporator-A/C: Removal

NOTE:
LHD model shown. RHD model similar.
- Remove the HVAC housing assembly (Refer to HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING/DISTRIBUTION/HOUSING-HVAC - HOUSING-HVAC ASSEMBLY - REMOVAL) .
- Disassemble the HVAC housing as necessary to access the A/C evaporator (1) (Refer to HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING/DISTRIBUTION/HOUSING-HVAC - DISASSEMBLY) .
- Carefully lift the A/C evaporator and the foam seal (2) out of the lower half of the HVAC housing (3).
- If required, remove the foam seal from the tapping block of the A/C evaporator. If the seal is deformed or damaged, it must be replaced.
