Diagnostic Test

  1. INTERMITTENT CONDITION 
    1. Turn the ignition on.
    2. With the scan tool, clear all TIPM DTCs.
    3. Turn the Head Lamp Washers on.
    4. With the scan tool, read the TIPM DTCs.

      Does the scan tool read: B2323-HEADLAMP WASHER MOTOR CONTROL CIRCUIT LOW?

      Yes 

      • Go to step  2

      No 

  2. FUSED B+ CIRCUIT OPEN

    NOTE: Check all fuses and circuit breakers before proceeding with the diagnosis of this DTC.
    1. Turn the ignition on.
    2. Remove the Headlamp Washer relay.
    3. Measure the voltage at cavity 86 of the Headlamp Washer relay.

      Is the voltage above 10.0 volts?

      Yes 

      • Go to step  3

      No 

  3. HEADLAMP WASHER RELAY 
    1. Turn the ignition off.
    2. Replace the Headlamp Washer relay with a known good relay.
    3. Turn the ignition on.
    4. With the scan tool, clear all TIPM DTCs.
    5. Activate the Headlamp Washers.
    6. With the scan tool, read the TIPM DTCs.

      Does the scan tool read: B2323-HEADLAMP WASHER MOTOR CONTROL CIRCUIT LOW?

      Yes 

      • Go to step  4

      No 

  4. (W24) HEADLAMP WASHER RELAY CONTROL CIRCUIT OPEN 
    1. Turn the ignition off.
    2. Disconnect the TIPM C3 Connector.
    3. Measure the resistance of the (W24) Headlamp Washer Relay Control circuit.

      Is the resistance below 5.0 Ohms?

      Yes 

      No
