Diagnostic Test

  1. INTERMITTENT CONDITION 
    1. Turn the ignition on.
    2. With the Scan Tool, clear all TIPM DTC's.
    3. Turn the Right Turn Signals on.
    4. With the Scan Tool read the DTC information.

      Does the Scan Tool read: B163F-FRONT RIGHT TURN CONTROL CIRCUIT LOW?

      Yes 

      • Go To  2

      No 

  2. RIGHT FRONT TURN SIGNAL BULB 
    1. Turn the ignition off.
    2. Inspect the Right Front Turn Signal Bulb assembly for a short condition.

      Is the inoperative bulb OK?

      Yes 

      • Go to step  3

      No 

  3. TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE 
    1. Turn the ignition off.
    2. Disconnect the TIPM C5 connector.
    3. Measure the resistance between ground and the (L60) Front Right Turn Signal Control circuit in the TIPM.

      Is the resistance below 5.0 ohms?

      Yes 

      No
