Diagnostic Test

  1. SECRET KEY INFORMATION NOT PROGRAMMED IN THE POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM) 
    1. Turn the ignition on.
    2. Using the scan tool, program the Secret Key information into the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) using the PCM Replaced function in the Wireless Ignition Node (WIN).
    3. Start the engine and allow it to reach normal operating temperature.
      NOTE: If the engine will not start, crank the engine for 15 seconds. Crank at least two times with the ignition switch returning to the off position each time.
    4. With a scan tool, select View DTCs.

      Is the status Active for this DTC?

      Yes 

      No
