Diagnostic Test

  1. INTERMITTENT CONDITION 
    1. Turn the ignition on.
    2. Clear all Cluster DTCs.
    3. Turn the Driver Reading Lamps on.
    4. With the Scan Tool read the DTC information.

      Does the Scan Tool read: B161F-READING LAMP CONTROL CIRCUIT LOW?

      Yes 

      • Go To  2

      No 

  2. (M27) READING/RAIL LAMPS DRIVER

    1. Turn the ignition off.
    2. Disconnect the Cluster C3 harness connector.
    3. Measure the resistance between ground and the (M27) Reading/Rail Lamps Driver circuit.

      Is the resistance below 5.0 ohms?

      Yes 

      No
