Diagnostic Test

VERIFY DTC IS ACTIVE
NOTE: Diagnose all CAN B and C communication failures before continuing.
1. Ignition on, engine not running.
2. Using a scan tool, read ACC DTCs.
  Is the DTC active at this time?
  
  Yes
  - Go to step 2
  No
  - The conditions that caused this code to set are not present at this time. Using the wiring diagram/schematic as a guide, inspect the wiring and connectors, pay particulate attention the CAN circuits.
  - Perform ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL VERIFICATION TEST. See DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) - Standard Procedure .
VERIFY TIPM IS ACTIVE ON CAN C BUS
1. Using a scan tool, select ECU View.
2. Verify that the TIPM is active on the bus.
  Is the TIPM active on the bus?
  
  Yes
  - Go to step 3
  No
  - Perform the appropriate diagnostic procedure. Refer to DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Totally Integrated Power (TIPM) - Diagnosis and Testing or. Refer to DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Totally Integrated Power (TIPM) - Diagnosis and Testing .
CHECK FOR ACTIVE OR STORED DTCs IN TIPM
1. Using a scan tool, read TIPM DTCs.
  Are any DTCs active or stored in the TIPM?
  
  Yes
  - Perform the appropriate diagnostic procedure. Refer to DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Totally Integrated Power (TIPM) - Diagnosis and Testing .
  No
  - Replace and program the ACC Module in accordance with the Service Information.
  - Perform ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL VERIFICATION TEST. See DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) - Standard Procedure .
