Adjustable Pedals SYCHRONIZATION

NOTE:
Although the pedals can be synchronized at either the full-forward or full-rearward positions (both pedals must be in the same position), it is recommended to do so with the pedals positioned in the full-forward position due to service part positioning from the factory.
- Disconnect the adjuster cable (1) running between the accelerator pedal module and the brake pedal assembly at the adjuster motor (2).
- Using the switch, position the accelerator pedal (2) in the full-forward position. The pin on the pedal (1) will line up with the adjustment line (2) at this point.
- Using a drill motor, or other suitable device, rotate the adjuster cable strand (2) from the accelerator pedal end to position the brake pedal (1) toward the full-forward position.
- Rotate the adjuster cable strand until the brake pedal (4) gear drive block (1) lines up with the full-forward adjustment line (3) as shown in illustration. If equipped, fine adjustments can be made by turning the adjustment knob (2) by hand to line up the components.
- Reconnect the adjuster cable to the adjuster motor. If the cable resists connection, if equipped, turn the adjustment knob (2) by hand until the cable drops into place. If not equipped with the adjustment knob, wiggle the cable around until the cable drops into place.
- Verify proper operation of the adjustable pedals.
