2 - BOLT (QTY. 8)
3 - BACKING PLATE
  1. Remove the transmission. Refer to Transmission and Transfer Case/Automatic - 42RLE - Removal or Transmission and Transfer Case/Automatic - NAG1 - Removal .
  2. Remove the flex plate attaching bolts (2).
  3. Remove the flex plate (1) and backing plate (3).
