Installation - 5.7L

Install a new short runner valve actuator rubber O-ring seal (1).

Position the short runner valve actuator, install the retaining bolts (1) and tighten to 5 N.m (44 in. lb.).

Install the intake manifold and throttle body as an assembly. Refer to Engine/Manifolds/MANIFOLD, Intake - Installation .

Connect the negative battery cable (1).
