High Intensity Discharge (Hid) Headlamps (If Equipped) - Low Beam: Cable

Remove the headlamp unit (Refer to ELECTRICAL/LAMPS/LIGHTING - EXTERIOR/HEADLAMP UNIT - REMOVAL) .

From the underside of the headlamp unit, remove the six retaining screws (1).

Pull the ballast module out of headlamp unit.
Disconnect the cable connector (2) Move the lever away or down from the wire of the cable and connector.

Remove the rubber boot (1) protecting the lamp/igniter from the elements.

Disconnect the electrical cable connector to the lamp/igniter by pulling straight down.

Maneuver cable through headlamp unit to separate.
