3.0L Diesel

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the engine trim cover.
  3. Remove the turbocharger heat shield.
  4. Remove the catalytic converter to downstream catalytic converter clamp.
  5. Remove the catalytic converter to turbocharger mounting nuts.
  6. Raise and support vehicle on hoist.
  7. Disconnect differential pressure ports (2).
  8. Disconnect exhaust temperature sensors (3).
  9. Disconnect downstream oxygen sensor connectors (4).
  10. Remove the catalyst assembly (1) from the diesel particulate filter (2).
  11. Remove the catalytic converter bracket mounting bolt.
  12. Remove the catalyst assembly.
