ANTENNA, Passive Entry: Removal: Trunk

  1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
  2. Fold up and move the spare tire cover and trunk carpet aside far enough to access the trunk floor (1) where it meets the forward edge of the spare tire well. Refer to Body/Interior/CARPET - Removal .
  3. Disconnect the body wire harness connector (2) from the antenna connector receptacle.
  4. Pull the antenna and receiver unit (3) rearward off of the flange at the front of the spare tire well.
  5. Remove the antenna and receiver from the trunk as a unit.
