Sensor-Crankshaft Position: Removal

1 - HEAT SHIELD

2 - CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Raise and support the vehicle.
Remove the crankshaft position sensor heat shield (1). See Fig 1.
Disconnect the crankshaft sensor wiring harness connector.
Remove the bolt and sensor (2).
