SENSOR, Camshaft Position: Removal: 5.7L/6.1L

- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Disconnect the electrical connector (4) at the Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor (1).
- Remove the CMP sensor mounting bolt (3).
- Using a slight rotating motion, carefully remove the CMP sensor from the timing chain cover (2).
- Check the condition of the sensor O-ring.
