COIL, Ignition: Installation: 6.1L

- Before installing coil(s), apply dielectric grease to inside of spark plug boots (1).
- Position ignition coil into valve cover and push both spark plug boots onto each spark plug.
- Install two coil mounting bolts (3) and tighten to 12 N.m (106 in. lbs.).
- Connect electrical connector (1) to coil and lock connector.
- Connect negative battery cable and tighten nut to 5 N.m (45 in. lbs.).
