PAD, Heater: Removal: Removal

NOTE: The factory installed heating element can be removed from the foam cushions by carefully peeling the element off along the adhesive lines.
  1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
  2. Remove the appropriate seat cushion. Refer to Body/Seats/COVER, Seat Cushion - Removal or seat back trim cover.
  3. Disconnect the inoperative heated seat cushion or seat back element electrical connectors (2).
  4. Remove the heating element by peeling it away from the foam, being careful not to remove excessive foam in the process.
