MDS Solenoid

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the intake manifold. See REMOVAL .
  3. Remove foam insulator pad (1) if necessary.
  4. Remove wiring harness connectors from the MDS solenoid(s) (3) that require removal.
  5. Remove hold down bolt (2) from MDS solenoid(s) (3).
  6. Remove MDS solenoid(s) (3).
