5.7L/6.1L Engine

1 - THERMOSTAT HOUSING
2 - THERMOSTAT
3 - BOLT
  1. Disconnect negative battery cable at battery.
  2. Drain cooling system (Refer to COOLING - STANDARD PROCEDURE) .
  3. Remove radiator hose at thermostat housing (1).
    NOTE: Thermostat o-ring is part of thermostat (2) and is not serviced separately.
  4. Remove thermostat housing mounting bolts (3), thermostat housing (1) and thermostat (2).
