Fuel Control Solenoid

1 - LOW PRESSURE FUEL SUPPLY
2 - RETURN FUEL
3 - HIGH PRESSURE SUPPLY TO FUEL RAIL
4 - FUEL TEMPERATURE SENSOR
5 - FUEL QUANTITY SOLENOID
6 - HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the fuel quantity solenoid wiring harness connector.
  3. Remove the solenoid fasteners and remove the solenoid. See Fig 1.
