Wheel Mounting Studs - Front

- Install replacement wheel stud into flange of hub and bearing from rear. Install stack of washers (1) on wheel stud, then install a standard type wheel mounting (lug) nut (3) on stud with flat side of lug nut against washers.
- Tighten nut (3), pulling wheel stud into hub flange. Once head of stud is fully seated against rear of hub flange, remove nut and washers from stud.
- Install brake rotor and caliper. Refer to INSTALLATION .
- Install wheel and tire assembly. See INSTALLATION . Tighten wheel mounting (lug) nuts in proper sequence to 150 N.m (110 ft. lbs.) (Police - 190 N.m (140 ft. lbs.)).
- Lower vehicle.
- Road test vehicle to ensure proper operation of the brakes.
