Input Clutches

Three hydraulically applied input clutches are used to drive planetary components. The underdrive, overdrive, and reverse clutches are considered input clutches and are contained within the input clutch assembly input shaft (1), underdrive clutch (2), overdrive clutch (3), reverse clutch (4), overdrive shaft (5) and underdrive shaft (6). The input clutch assembly also contains: See Fig 1.
