Installation-Pre-Catalytic Converter

1 - TURBOCHARGER
2 - GASKET
3 - CLAMP BOLT
4 - CLAMP
5 - PRE-CATALYTIC CONVERTER
6 - BRACKET
7 - BOLTS
  1. Position gasket on turbocharger
  2. Position pre-catalytic converter (5) to turbocharger (1).
  3. Install bracket (6) and mounting bolts (7). Do not torque at this time.
  4. Install clamp (4) and clamp bolt (3). Hand tighten clamp bolt (3) at this time.
  5. Insure clamp (4) is seated on both turbocharger and pre-catalytic converter. Tap clamp (4) if necessary.
  6. While holding pressure on the clamp toward the turbocharger, tighten clamp bolt (3) to 15 N.m (8.8 in. lbs.).

    2 - UP STREAM O2 SENSOR
  7. Install catalytic converter. See INSTALLATION .
  8. Connect oxygen sensor electrical connectors.
