Negative - Rear Compartment

- Turn the ignition switch to the Off position. Be certain that all electrical accessories are turned off.
- Remove the spare tire cover to gain access to the battery.
- Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable (3).
- Remove the fastener (4) securing the battery negative cable to the body.
- Remove the cable from the vehicle.
