Reservoir, 2.2L Diesel

  1. Attach the reservoir to the vehicle using two mounting bolts. Tighten the mounting bolts to 54 N.m (40 ft. lbs.).

  2. Slide the supply hose (2) onto the reservoir fitting. Expand the hose clamp and slide it over the hose on the reservoir fitting. Secure the clamp once it is past the bead formed into the fluid reservoir fitting.

  3. Slide the return hose (2) onto the reservoir fitting. Expand the hose clamp and slide it over the hose on the reservoir fitting. Secure the clamp once it is past the bead formed into the fluid reservoir fitting.
  4. Install the engine air cleaner. Refer to INSTALLATION .
  5. Install the engine top appearance cover.
  6. Fill fluid reservoir to proper level. See STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  7. Start engine and let run for a few seconds, then turn engine off.
  8. Add fluid if necessary.
  9. Install reservoir filler cap.
