NOTE: Installer, Special Tool C-4063C, is a combination of Installer, Special Tool C-4063B, and Forcing Screw, Special Tool C-4063-2. It is important to use Forcing Screw C-4063-2 when performing this procedure.
  1. Thread Installer, Special Tool C-4063C (1), completely into the internal threads of the power steering pump shaft, then rotate Installer Nut down against the pulley.
  2. Ensuring that the special tool and pulley remain aligned with the pump shaft, tighten the Installer Nut, forcing the pulley onto the power steering pump shaft until the tool comes in contact with the end of the pump shaft. When contact is made, Installer Nut will no longer rotate.
  3. Remove the special tool (1) from the power steering pump.
  4. Install the power steering pump on engine. See INSTALLATION .
