Flex Plate: Installation

- Position the flexplate or flywheel onto the crankshaft and install the bolts hand tight.
- For automatic transmissions:
Tighten the flexplate retaining bolts to 95 N.m (70 ft. lbs.).
- Install the transmission. Refer to appropriate Transmission SERVICE INFORMATION article.
