Cover-Cylinder Head: Removal

Disconnect battery negative cable.
Disconnect ignition coil connector (1).
Remove ignition coil retaining bolts (3).

Remove ignition coil (1).

Remove cylinder head cover retaining bolts.

1 - CYLINDER HEAD COVER

2 - GASKET

3 - FASTENERS

4 - CYLINDER HEAD

5 - HEAD GASKET

Remove cylinder head cover (1).

NOTE: The gasket (2) may be used again, provided no cuts, tears, or deformation has occurred.
